PURPOSE:To enhance abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance of the magnetic material for shielding case by a method wherein a high permeability alloy plate and a nonmagnetic stainless steel plate having the prescribed ratio of thickness are made to undergo cold pressure welding to make a clad metal. CONSTITUTION:The high permeability alloy plate having superior magnetic characteristic and the nonmagnetic stainless steel plate having superior abrasion resistance are made to undergo cold pressure welding to make the clad metal keeping the ratio of thickness in the range of 0.87:0.13-0.20:0.80. When the shielding case is to be formed by drawing using the magnetic material prepared by the above-mentioned way, the case is formed making the stainless steel plate as to correspond to the tape sliding face, and magnetic shielding is made to be in charge of the high permeability magnetic alloy plate having the superior magnetic characteristic and prevention of abrasion is in charge of the stainless steel plate. Accordingly abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance of the high permeability magnetic material for the shielding case can be enhanced. |
