PURPOSE:To accurately measure the changing rate of weights irrespective of the initial weight of an object to be measured by obtaining the actually measured values of the weight change with a rise in temp. in terms of per cent of residual weight. CONSTITUTION:In a thermogravimetric analyzer 1, the temp. of an object to be measured is elevated isocharonally and the changes in temp. and weight are measured and are conducted as inputs 2, 3 to a memory part 4. Then, a set temp. is inputted thereto from the input terminal 6 of the memory part 4 and the weight difference W in the set temp. range is obtained by the 1st arithmetic part 7. Further, in the arithmetic part 7, the residual weight rate W (%) for the set temp. of, for example, every 1 deg.C is operated as 100(1-Wn/W), where Wn is the weight at each set temp. In the 2nd arithmetic part 8, the temp. differential of the residual weight rate W (%) is obtained by the equation 2. Thereby, the errors owing to micro- vibrations etc. of the apparatus are minimized irrespective of the initial weight of the object to be measured, and the change rates of its weights with a rise in temp. are accurately measured. |
