JOINING METHOD OF PLASTIC PIPE

PURPOSE:To effect heat welding of both parts preventing the buckling of them upon inserting by a method wherein a socket of plastic to which metallic collars are fixed at the inner surfaces of both ends thereof is heated and the ends of the plastic pipes are inserted into the heated socket. CONSTITUTION:The metallic collars 2 are fixed to the inner surfaces of the ends of the socket 1 made of olefin plastic and the socket 1 is heated to soften it while the end part 30 of the plastic pipe 3 is inserted into the socket in heated and softened condition. The pipe end 30 can be inserted as the surface thereof is being fused by heat and the inner surface of the plastic socket 1 as well as the outer surface of the plastic pipe end 30 can be fused by heat, therefore, the socket 1 and the pipe 3 can be welded by heat firmly. The buckling of the pipe may be prevented since the surface of the pipe end 30 only is heated and softened.
