PURPOSE:To obtain distinguishable various images, especially solid line and dotted line images on the same image forming material by forming a continuous photosensitive coat layer on a support and discontinuously patterning the layer with a dye sensitizable to a wavelength region different from the sensitive wavelength region of the layer. CONSTITUTION:A coating fluid prepared by dispersing silver behenate and behenic acid in a polyvinyl butyral soln. and adding KBr is applied to support 11 such as art paper and dried to form continuous photosensitive coat 13, and a coating fluid contg. the sensitizing dye of formula I is uniformly applied to coat 13. A coating fluid contg. a sensitizing dye such as the dye of formula II different from the dye of formula I in sensitive region is then applied by a screen printing method to form discontinuous coat layer 12, 14 with a square pattern. The resulting photoreceptor is irradiated with light in a sensitive wavelength region in which the regions of the dyes overlap each other, and by heating the receptor, solid line image 14 is formed. Dotted line image 15 is then formed with light in the sensitive wavelength region of a part where dye 1 is not applied. |
