<p>The invention relates to a gamma camera for forming the image of a radiation distribution, comprising a scintillation crystal, several photomultipliers which are arranged according to a regular array opposite a surface of the scintillation crystal, the photosensitive surface of each photomultiplier facing the scintillation crystal, each photomultiplier being connected to arithmetic circuits which calculate the coordinates of the scintillations on the basis of the signals applied thereto by the photomultipliers, the gamma camera furthermore comprising an electrical circuit for correcting the calculated coordinates, the corrections being determined by the distance between the scintillation and the center of the photomultiplier tube situated nearest to the scintillation.</p> |
