PURPOSE:To eliminate the deformation strains of a sensitive membrane and make possible highly reliable measurement by inserting the sensitive membrane electrode into the inside of an elastic annular spacer provided with a flow passage for the liquid to be examined on the side part. CONSTITUTION:The side wall part of a base is provided with a lanced groove 18 down to the bottom and the flow passage 10 of a elastic spacer 17 is inserted into this groove 18. Said passage 10 is made into such construction that it penetrates through the side wall of the elastic spacer 17. The sensitive membrane 1 of an electrode 2 is inserted into the inside of the spacer 17 and maintains airtightness by making pressure contact with the edge of the bottom of the electrode 2 so that the inside volume of the spacer 17 is made as small as possible. The electrode 2 is held so as to be placed between a fixing cap 3 and the base by way of, for example, an O-ring, and is so designed that the projections 19 of the base and the notches 19' of the cap 3 enter with each other. The membrane 1 held in this way has no change owing to pressing and is positioned in a limited space, hence it does not receive the effect of contaimination. |
