Plastics shin pad for sportsmen - has hard impact zones and softer remaining zones esp. of same material as foam

A lower leg protector, esp. shin pad for sportsman, comprises a shell of plastics material. This shell is composed of two different materials possessing different hardnesses, the material for the actual impact zones having the other material injected around it. Pref. the impact zones are of a harder material while the remainder may be of foam. Both materials may be polyamides of different hardnesses, polypropylenes of different hardnesses, or polyurethane, opt. in foam form, but also of different hardnesses.
