The multiple pin connection system at the back of a piece of equipment uses a support arrangement permitting tests to be made, designed to avoid accidental short circuits. Across an opening through a panel (2) is a member (1) with sections into which components are plugged. Mounted on spacers (8) behind this member is a plate (6) parallel to the panel, with sections into which cable plugs can be inserted. Between the panel and the plate is a zone enclosing connecting pins (3) and wires (4). The ends of the plate have hollow projections (11) tapered on the outside, into which the tubular spacers are fitted. Screws (9) are inserted through the plate and into the spacers. The height of the projections is greater than the depth of insertion of the screws.
