<p>The heat pump operation system partly separates a mixture of refrigerating medium and solvent. The characteristics of the medium are such that its solubility in the solvent at constant temperature increases with increasing pressure. As the solvent absorbs the medium heat is released, while on separation of part of the medium from it heat is required. The vaporiser (1) is driven by a motor (2) and is accommodated in a hermetically sealed housing (3). The medium circulates from the vaporiser to a heat exchanger (9). There is a second heat exhanger (7) in which the medium picks up heat.</p> |
