PURPOSE:The titled composition useful for coronary occlusion of the heart, comprising an iodine-containing egg as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising an egg containing iodine Righly, for example, obtained by feeding more than given amount of an iodine compound or seaweed to birds so that iodine is transferred to an egg, as an active ingredient. The ingestion of this egg improves a constitutional ratio of lipoprotein with high specific gravity in the blood, namely a ratio of lipoprotein with high specific gravity to lipoprotein with low sepecific gravity, though the reason is unknown. By reducing lipoprotein with low specific gravity and increasing lipoprotein with high specific gravity, the deposition of cholesterol is prevented, and arterioscherosis can be prevented and remedied. |
