<p>The proposed insulated vessel for cooking food consist of a saucepan receiving element (a) and a lid (1), the element having a smaller diameter than the lid. Thus, in use, an annular slit is arranged between the lid and the receiving element. In order to withstand high thermal stresses the receiving element (2) comprises a second receiving element (3) which, by means of ribs (8), provides an air passage (9) between both elements.
