PURPOSE:To enable to perform the manual scanning, by detecting the subscanning speed of original and obtaining the synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:The scanner 1 is manually operated on the read-in scanning objective (original, etc.) 7. The wheel 2 for detecting subscanning speed detects this subscanning speed. The pulse produced in response to the speed is multiplied by in- creasing the scanning density. This signal is used as the pulse to start the main scanning of the photoelectric conversion element 9. Thus, the photoelectric conversion element 9 can read in response to the read-in speed of the scanner 1. Since the scanner 1 can be held in hand and scanned on any object, it can be used for the read-in of stecker on package or the like. |
