<p>The inside edges of connecting sheet metal strips and sliding strips are fixed by nailing, and at least one layer of roofing felt is fitted, in construction of flat roofs with sheet metal construction. The sheet metal connecting strips (4) are fixed lengthways by nailing (12), permitting lateral expansion; the nailed area is loosely covered by sliding strips (13). The top layer of felting (16) is fixed by cementing on a lower layer of felt and on an open part of the verge-covering metal strip on both sides of the sliding strip. The sliding strip is covered, without cementing.</p> |
