摘要 <p>The system has the sensor output sampled at regular intervals with the sampled values being stored. The differences between each two successive values are then obtained and weighted before addition to the sensor output as a correction signal. Pref. the sensor is used to monitor an operating condition of a vehicle engine e.g. the intake pressure, with the weighting of the difference values being dependant on at least one further engine operating condition. The sensor output is fed to an electronic ignition control device (16) via a microprocessor (100) which modifies it according to a given algorithm. The ignition control is used to prevent engine knock and to optimise the engine performance over the remainder of the working range.</p>
