The supporting vane assembly is for a sailboard, having two or more vanes, one near the stem and the other near the stern. Each vane is assembled from two parts symmetrical in relation to the sailboard centre line, each including a supporting member inclined to the horizontal lengthwise direction of the board. The highest point of the profile of the supporting vane is unsymmetrical in relation to the transverse centre line at angles to the direction of movement.
