Descriptive markings are applied to a hose by applying the marking to a carrier film and curing the hose whilst the carrier film is in contact with it. The marking which is trapped between the hose and the film is permanently secured to the hose. The film may be stripped from the curved hose or may remain on it as a protective covering. In an alternative procedure, the marking may be sandwiched between two films. Sharp details secured in a scuff-free manner. |
