Antitheft cap for oil tank filler closure - is locked to flange around tube below closure by cylinder lock

The anti-theft lock is intended for a heating oil tank filler closure (2,3) which may already be lockable via padlock eyes (18,19). The lock prevents access to this easily broken closure. An annular flange (7,11) is arranged around the tube end (16) below the closure assembly (2,3) and a cap (1) placed over the closure can be locked (via 17 and 4) to this flange by a cylinder lock (5). The flange may consist of two diametrically overlapping halves connected by screws, and may be secured to the tube (16) by a set screw (14), whilst the cap pref. prevents access to all screws.
