<p>Slubbing is drawn from the reserve spool, in a preset length, and fed to the entry opening of the flyer blade. There is a hand piece for the controlled suction jet of the suction head, with a connecting tube to a vacuum pump, which is applied to the exit opening of the flyer blade. Suction is applied until the length of slubbing has been drawn through into the suction head, and it is then joined to the fibre material projecting from the drawing unit. System provides a simple and rapid method of repairing slubbing breaks.</p> |
