<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a piston made of synthetic resin from edge chipping, crack and the like, by adding thermoplastic resin to composition of the piston. CONSTITUTION:In a synthetic resin piston with the matrix of thermosetting resin mostly used in a piston for disc brake, as thermoplastic resin to be added at least one of the following resins is selected and used to about 1-15wt% for the thermosetting resin. In this way, a crack can be prevented when applied a brake while a crack can be decreased at assembly. For the thermoplastic resin to be added, polyamide resin, polyamide imide resin, aromatic polyester resin, polycarbonate resin, polypropylene resin, polysulfone resin, polyphenylene sulfide resin, silicone resin, fluorine resin, polyaryl sulfone resin, polyether sulfone resin and polyacetal resin are use.</p> |
