<p>PURPOSE:To improve cooling performance in a brake and prevent a phenomenon of its inoperative failure, by providing a wind guide plate for introducing ram air for a vehicle into a calipers of the disc brake and cooling pad members and the like mounted to the inside of the calipers. CONSTITUTION:A calipers 7 is arranged in a place inclined toward the front side of a vehicle from a position immediately above the shaft core of a disc rotor 6, further a wind guide plate 13 for introducing ram air W, produced in accordance with a running motion of the vehicle, to inspection access windows 10, 11 is protrusively provided from the peripheral face of a liquid pressure cylinder 12 to ward the center of the vehicle in such a manner that said plate 13 is not behind a disc wheel 8, that is, in a position for the ram air easily acceptable. In this way, introduction of the ram air W into the inspection windows 10, 11 for effectively cooling those members in the inside of the calipers of an inner pad 4, outer pad 5, piston 12a and the like can prevent phenomena of vapor lock in brake fluid caused by its boiling.</p> |
