Steel pipe coating appts. comprises a resin inlet passageway(411), a resin extruding annular passageway(426) surrounding the steel pipe(A), a resin extruding passageway(141) in the extruder, a steel pipe guide way(42), a cross head(4) movably mounted on the frame, an extruder fixed to the frame, and a reciprocating means(6) for the cross head(4). For feeding the molten resin from the extruder to the cross head die, the resin extruding passageway(141) in the extruder & the resin inlet passageway(426) in the cross head die are communicated with the resin guide member(3).
