PURPOSE:To manufacture a hea absorbing material of excellent selectively absorbing properties by coating a metal base with a plated film of a black alloy which is excellent in weather and discoloration resistances. CONSTITUTION:A base of a metal such as copper, stainless steel, iron of aluminum is electroplated in a plating bath containing as principal components pyrophosphate; amino acid salt or ammonium salt; stannous slat; cobalt, nickel or iron metal salt and molybdate, to form a plated film of an alloy of Sn-M-Mo series which has solar heat selectively absorbing properties of absorptivity more than 0.85 and reflectance less than 0.1 (where M represents Co, Ni or Fe). |
