<p>PURPOSE:To provide a printer which can print three different types of the form such as a receipt, a journal or a card by switching the movement of a lock lever through a selection lever by means of an interposer, with regard to a paper feed switching device for a printer. CONSTITUTION:A ratchet 2a engaged with a receipt feed roller is stationary by the help of a lock lever 9a. If a magnet 5b is electrically turned on, attracting a selection lever 14 to move an auxiliary plate 15 for the selection lever toward an arrow direction 57, an interposer 12 and a lock lever 9a which are engaged with a slit on the auxiliary plate 15 turn, and ''D'' part, the nose of the former is disengaged from the ratchet 2a, feeding a receipt. But when a card 54 is inserted between BOC lever 18 and a card-holder 19, the interposer 12 is located away from the auxiliary plate 15. Therefore, even if the selection lever 14 rotates, the lock lever 9a won't move, feeding a card. The switching of the selection lever 14 to a position ''C'' enables the concurrent feeding of a journal.</p> |
