PURPOSE:To change rotating angle and a rotating torque of a step-motor, by changing a displacement way of pole excitation according to a driving pulse frequency. CONSTITUTION:When driving input pulse 1 is input, a frequency discriminating circuit 9 discriminates the frequency. If it is above the normal frequency an output from an excitation control circuit 2a is selected by a gate circuit 10, and if below an output from an excitation control circuit 2b is selected by the gate circuit 10. With such a signal given to the gate circuit 10, an output of the gate circuit 10 excites poles 3-6 of a step-motor. With such an arrangement, an operation with fewer vibrations at a lower speed and with a margin at a higher speed can be obtained. |
