PURPOSE:To reduce the collector dissipation in a transistor, by mounting a transformer between a transistor and an output terminal, rectifying a voltage caused to a secondary winding of the transformer and feeding it to a driver transistor as a collector voltage. CONSTITUTION:When pulses Vp are generated, a driver transistor 2 is forced to an on-off state, which in turn drives a transistor 1 to an on-off state. By this a voltage is caused by a loaded current to a secondary winding n2 of a transformer 8. The voltage is rectified by a full-wave rectification circuit to cause a voltage drop to both ends of a resistor 9. Because of the said voltage, an emitter to collector voltage enough to saturate the transistor 1 can be given to the driver transistor 2. Consequently, a collector to emitter voltage, when the transistor 1 is in an on-state, can be lowered to a saturable collector to emitter voltage when it is used as a single body. Therefore the collector dissipation in the transistor 1 can be minimized. |
