PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of resin of the molded transformer by a method wherein a strain gauge is equipped on the surface of coil of the molded transformer, and the management of running is performed measuring stress of the resin. CONSTITUTION:The strain gauge 6 to measure stress is equipped on the surface of the high-tension coil 2. Stress generating in the resin being caused by the difference between the coefficient of thermal expansion is measured with the strain gauge 6, and when a value near the allowable stress is generated, it is detected and an alarm or a breaking circuit is made to operate to protect the molded transformer. Measuring directly stress of the resin indicating the important numerical value for the molded transformer with the strain gauge by this way, the highly reliable management of running of the molded transformer can be performed. |
