PURPOSE:To produce a magnetic head, by forming the sound recording gap and the reproducing gap simultaneously, and by causing cores of the sound recording head and the reproducing head to adhere to each other by the organic adhesive after. CONSTITUTION:Sound recording cores 1 and 2 are constituted with high magnetic flux density ferrite, and reproducing cores 3 and 4 are constituted with high magnetic permeability ferrite, and gap forming faces 5a, 5b, 6a and 6b of recording and reproducing cores are so polished that they become parallel with a high precision. Four core blocks are melt-stuck with glass. That is, recording cores 1 and 2 and reproducing cores 3 and 4 are butted to one another and are fixed with a low-melting point glass by adhesion so that recording gap 11 and reproducing gap 12 are formed simultaneously, and then, recording inside core 2 and reproducing inside core 3 are fixed with organic adhesive 10B by adhesion. Core block 9 obtained by melt-stuck with glass and organic adhesion is cut and subjected to the grooving work as shown by the broken line to form a core chip. The back core is fixed to the core chip by adhesion to form a magnetic head. |
