PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized secondary battery having increased charging and discharging capacity by using lithium as negative electrode activating substance and Cu2V2O7 as positive electrode activating substance. CONSTITUTION:Cu2V2O7 is used as positive electrode activating substance and conductive power such as acetylene black is added into Cu2V2O7 powder if necessary, and further binder powder such as polytetrafluoroethyleneis added and mixed, and the mixture thus obtained is press-formed into film form on the supporting body made of nickel etc., and thus a positive electrode is obtained. Lithium metal as negative electrode activating substance is formed into sheet form, and the sheet is pressed onto the conductor net made of nickel etc., and thus a negative electrode is obtained. As electrolyte, the combination of nonproton organic solvent such as propylene carbonate and lithium salt such as LiClO4, or solid electrolyte or molten salt which has Li<+> as conduction body is used. |
