PURPOSE:To prevent production of a jamming phenomenon at the carrying time of an original at the exposure section, by setting the home position of the original scanning means to a given location and minimizing the charging of a platen. CONSTITUTION:The home position of the scanning means is provided at the position B shown in the broken line at the right end of glass. Further, when the scanning means started from this location, the feeder section 10 is driven and the original is fed to the exposure section. In this case, while the scanning means moves from the position B to the position A being the start position of the original scanning, since a destaticizing stylus destaticized for the entire surface of the platen glass 3, the original can be carried to the platen plane always destaticized. Thus, the problems such as jamming phenomena and oblique feeding are eliminated. |
