PURPOSE:To make the size of device small, by providing the transducer for bulk wave generation to diffract the incident light, on the optical crystal surface having the emission plane of taper shape to the incident plane of light. CONSTITUTION:The light 13 incident to the medium 11 such as lead molybdate crystal via the optical fiber connector 47 and lens 46 is diffracted by 1 the bulk wave propagating in the medium 11 and produced from the transducer 12 driven by the driving circuit 19. The diffracted light of 0 order is totally reflected on the taper plane 20 of emission side and the light 34 is transmitted to the optical fiber 44 through the connector 47. Further, the diffracted light of the 1st order passes through the taper plane 20 and the emitted light is transmitted to the optical fiber 45. Thus, the device can be made to small size. |
