PURPOSE:To simplify the cleaning, by providing the means giving the required copy bias with polarity from the back of the copy member holding plane of the copy member holding means and the means giving the corona discharge with the same polarity as the copy bias to the copy member holding surface. CONSTITUTION:Polyester film 243 200mu in thickness is wound on the notch of the metallic frame 242 as shown in Fig. 2 of the copying drum 24. Before the end of copying, after separating the copy paper 20 of the copying drum 24, the charger 26 starts the corona discharge of positive polarity to charge up the surface of the copy paper support 243 into +polarity. With this +charge, the toner of the surface of the support 243 becoming +polarity is repuled with the +charge at the back of the support 24 by the copy charger 25 and recopied to the surface of the photosensing drum 1 for the cleaning of the surface of the supporter 243. |
