PURPOSE:To obtain a bright picture without fogging, by arranging an electrostatic image holder and a toner holder with a given clearance at a development section and holding an insulating magnetic toner on the toner holder thinner than the said interval. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic image holder 1 is the photoreceptor drum including the photoconductive layer, the development device 4 has the development agent carrier 4a, and the toner particle picture is formed according to the electrostatic image on the photoreceptor 1. Further, the nonmagnetic cylinder 4b being the toner carrier is turned toward the same direction as the electrostatic image holding plane 1, and the toner 11 fed from the development agent vessel 12 is coated on the nonmagnetic cylinder surface and charging is made to the toner particles with friction. Further, the doctor plate 10 is located near the cylinder surface (gap 50mu-500mu), allowing to make thin the toner layer (30mu-300mu) and make uniform. Thus, bright picture without fogging is obtained. |
