PURPOSE:To enable high-speed switching by connecting a coil having a secondary winding in series of the collector of a transistor and by applying a voltage developed across the secondary winding to the base. CONSTITUTION:A voltage developed across a secondary winding is rectified by diode 108 and capacitor 7 to supply a bias to the base of transistor 101 via resistance 107. The storage time in switching operation is shortened by connecting terminals 4 and 5 of the secondary winding and the base and emitter of transistor 101 so that a reverse bias will be applied between the base and emitter. |
