<p>PURPOSE:To effectively keep the warmth of a metallic material during it is subjected to a working, by coating the surface of the metallic material to be worked with a mixture of a refractory heat insulator and a bonding material. CONSTITUTION:When the metallic materal 1 extracted from the heating furnace passes the coating material spraying device 4, the coating material 3, that is a mixture of the bonding material and the refractory heat insulator conveyed by the high temperature, high pressure pneumatic medium, is sprayed upon the metallic material 1 whose surface is thereby coated by the coating film 3'. Then said material 1 is sent as it is to the anvil device 2 and is applied the working. As for the refractory heat insulator, such a material thermally stable at the working temperature for said material 1 and effective in insulating the heat as Al2O3-SiO2, for example, is employed. As for the bonding material, such a material possessing a property of making the refractory heat insulator tight adhere to the surface of said material 1 at the working temperature for said material 1 as KCl of melting point about 700- 800 deg.C, for example, is employed. In the case that said material 1 is to be repeatedly subjected to the working, said material 1 is passed the coating material spraying device 4' to be coated again.</p> |
