<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the interruption time during the voice recognizing operation to a minimum to prevent reverberation of the synthesized voice from being input, by inhibiting the voice recognizing operation during the delay time of the delay means which performs the delay operation according to the acoustic pressure level of the voice synthesis output. CONSTITUTION:Voice input information inputted from mike 1 is recognized by recognizing means 5 and is operated by operating means 6, and the result is outputted as a synthesized voice by synthesized voice means 7 and the speaker. The acoustic pressure of the synthesized voice from synthesized voice means 7 is detected by acoustic pressure detecting means 11, and the delay time of delay means 12 is determined according to this acoustic pressure. During this delay time, the voice recognizing operation of voice recognizing means 5 is interrupted. As the result, reverberations of the synthesized voice (output) are prevented from being input as the input voice. The user listens to the synthesized voice from spaker 10 and inputs words indicated by this voice from mike 1, thereby registering the voice.</p> |
