PURPOSE:To make a device small-size and reduce noise generation places to reduce a measuring error, by using the electrostatic capacity between the conductor and a part of the shield of the lead cable for high voltage as a coupling capacitor. CONSTITUTION:Cable shield 9 at the end part of lead cable 3 for high voltage which is used for applying a high voltage to object 4 to be measured is separated into the shield of the cable main body and the shield of the cable end part by part 10, and these shields are insulated from each other, and leading-out terminals 11 and 12 are fitted to respective shields. Thus, the electrostatic capacity between the lead cable conductor and terminal 11 becomes the electrostatic capacity of the lead cable main body, and the electrostatic capacity between the conductor and terminal 12 is used as a coupling capacity to lead the output of terminal 12 to partial discharge measurer 6, so that the coupling capacitor of a high dielectric strength is not required specially. |
