PURPOSE:To convert the time division multiple PCM signal in the oversampling system to a PCM signal of 8kHz which is the standard sampling frequency, by causing this time division multiple PCM signal to pass through a temporary memory. CONSTITUTION:Input signal string IN includes every two sets of 8 channel (A-H) PCM signals which are multiplexed in time division in one frame, and each channel consists of 8-bit data sampled by double sampling rate 15kHz of the Nyquist rate. These two sets of data are input to shift registers 10A-10H, and one set of them is designated under the control of control circuit 100A and is stored in shift registers temporarily. For these data, one of two time slots is designated by control circuit 100B, and they are output by the designated time slot. |
