Reversible plough hydropneumatic compensator - has ram alongside cylinder by which mouldboard is mounted on frame

The hydropneumatic compensator is for a reversible plough attached to a tractor three-point mounting, and which uses the hydraulic circuit both for reversal and for mould-board actuation. Each mouldboard (3) is secured by a central cylinder (5) to the frame, from which there extends to the side a bracket (14) on which a hydropneumatic ram (15) is mounted. The ram is connected, as are the other rams for the other mouldboards, by a pipe to a central pressure vessel. The end of the ram, also that of the rod inside the central cylinder and a bracket on the mouldboard, are secured to a lever (21). The ram piston rod (18) works in an elongated hole in the latter, while the other rod and the bracket hinge on it.
