Two jaw cutting and stripping tool for cables - clamps, cuts and flattens cable against anvil using cutter sliding on ramp to cut insulation

The tool comprises a pair of jaws and is used to cut to length and strip the covering from twisted wires such as are used in telephony. One end of the tool grips the wire while a central cutter cuts the wire through and a tapered cutter at the other end flattens the wires against an anvil and cuts into the insulation so when the wire is pulled away from the tool, the section of insulation to be stripped is trapped by the tool and falls away when the wire is fully withdrawn from the tool. The rubber faced clamp blocks are spring loaded to accommodate varying wires dias. The stripping cutter is trapezoidal in shape with an elongated hole for its support pin and is free to slide along the sloped face of the mounting block to adjust its opening.
