Tool for trimming holes in reinforced laminate panels - to simplify manual finishing of GRP automobile parts

A tool for trimming openings in laminates of e.g. glass fibre reinforced polyester resin comprises a casing with a crank-driven gear, which can accept a modular insert having rotary knives suitably shaped for trimming the edge of the opening. The casing carries an interchangeable ancillary flange to assist location of the tool opposite the hole to be trimmed. Suitable for e.g. trimming holes in bumpers to accept lamps etc. more efficiently and reproducibly than by manual cutting or filling.
