PURPOSE:To obtain a reproducing signal without the influence of orientation, by controlling amplification degree of a recording amplifier by the orientation detection output of a magnetic recording material, in a device using a disc magnetic recording material. CONSTITUTION:Independently of the recording and reproducing operation of the video signal, at the recording time, the signal of a fixed oscillation width from oscillator 14 is amplified by recording amplifier 15 and is supplied to orientation detecting magnetic head 18 through relay 16 and is recorded on magnetic sheet 20. After that, relay 16 is connected to the PB side to supply the output of head 18 to orientation detecting circuit 17. The detection output from circuit 17 is supplied to recording amplifier 6 and controls the amplification degree of amplifier 6 and changes the recording current flowed to magnetic head 19 so that the reproducing signal level is fixed. As a result, the amplitude of the reproduced signal is made fixed independently of orientation. |
