<p>The device allows e.g. an extra door leaf to be removably attached to e.g. an existing door in a hinged or rigid manner. It consists of either a flat e.g. metallic strip or an angled bracket having a hole (3, 4) at each end. The device may be secured to e.g. the existing door using the screw hole and allows an auxiliary hinge pin to pass through the other hole. A rigid connection is formed by fitting a co-operating sleeve to e.g. the existing door and fitting it over the projecting part of the device when it is attached to the extra door leaf.</p> |
