The invention relates to an annealing and transport stand for thin delicate nonferrous-metal foils, preferably aluminium foils, wound in rolls. It is to be of variable height and be capable of being inserted into annealing furnaces, it is to be capable of being dismantled and constructed quickly and without considerable outlay in terms of manual labour and is to guarantee a mounting of the foil rolls which prevents damage to these during loading and unloading and during any transport. This is achieved by means of an annealing and transport stand consisting of a compact lower part and of dismantleable upper parts. The lower part is formed from two longitudinal members with feet, three crossmembers arranged on them and three upper longitudinal members. All the parts are welded together. The upper parts each consist of two crossmembers provided with feet and of three longitudinal members placed on these. The upper longitudinal members of the lower part and those of the upper parts are equipped with outer and inner bearings for the purpose of the mounting of foil rolls, supporting tubes being assigned to these bearings. The longitudinal members and crossmembers have corner reinforcements with corresponding bores and stiffenings. <IMAGE>
