<p>The present invention relates to a photometric measuring device for automatically controlling the quantity of light incident in an apparatus for recording an image on film, such as a still camera or movie camera, for example, or for controlling the sensitivity of the image-capturing device of an apparatus such as, for example, a video camera. The device contains an electric circuit (T) for detecting the zones having interesting details from the totality of a recorded image and for transmitting at an output a signal which represents the mean value of the brightness signal (Vs) which corresponds to the zones having the details thus selected, in order in this way to use this signal to control the opening of a diaphragm (1a) and/or the opening duration of a shutter (1b) or a circuit (1c) for controlling the sensitivity of the image-capturing device. <IMAGE></p> |
