PURPOSE:To prepare glycerol kinase having improved stability efficiently, by cultivating a microorganism belonging to the genus Cellulomonas or Corynebacterium. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism, e.g. Cellulomonas flavigena IFO-12680 or Corynebacterium xerosis IFO-12684, which belongs to the genus Cellulomonas or Corynebacterium and has the ability to produce glycerol kinase is inoculated into a nutrient culture medium and cultivated to collect the glycerol kinase from the resultant culture. |
