Antidazzle system using magnetic compass - rotating optical polarisers of two vehicles approaching each other until orthogonal

The device has a magnetic compass with a non-magnetic disc coupled to it. The disc therefore rotates as the vehicle's direction changes and is connected to rotary polarisers in front of the driver and in front of the headlights. The required angle is reached when the axes of the polarisers of two vehicles approaching each other are orthogonal thereby preventing the light fron one dazzling the driver of the other. The compass ensures that this orthogonality is always attained since it links the position of the optical axes of the polarisers to magnetic north.
