Three=phase generator for vehicle - can accommodate two types of rotor by changing bearing plate whilst preserving cooler

The generator accommodates a rotor having no slip rings as well as a conventional type of rotor. The B bearing plate is removed and replaced by an A bearing plate that has holes for cooling air. These holes point in the direction of vehicle movement and air is forced through them as a result of the vehicle's movement. The ventilator wheel is fixed to the no-slip-ring rotor such that it aids the air forced in by the vehicle's movement. The controller and rectifier diodes have heat sinks adjoining the A bearing plate and supported by it.
