<p>The hydraulic vehicle disc brake has two pistons each with a brake lining and working in a cylinder. Each service brake piston (93) has on the side furthest from the brake lining (95) and coaxial to it a parking brake piston (108), working in a parking brake cylinder (108), hydraulically controlled, and actuated by a spring accumulator. The parking brake piston engages with an actuating member sliding in the housing (92) coaxially to the service brake piston. One end of the member protrudes from the housing, while the other fits in a coaxial recess (130) in the service brake piston end furthest from the lining. A coupling transmits movement between member and service brake piston only when the former is moving towards the latter.</p> |
