<p>The shelf for a refrigerator compartment in ships is stable, and has firmly anchored uprights (1,2) to which are fixed, on the top, metal, smooth-surfaced shelves. The shelves (3) are loosely inserted and have outward-projecting support pins (4) near the uprights (1,2). The sides of the uprights have slots in (5) which are open on one side; the closed end (5a) of the slots is deeper than the open end, and takes the pins (4) of the shelves.</p> |
