The reinforced chassis for a low loader has front and rear cross struts (7,8) as well as one central cross strut (9) near the axle(s) (3,4). Two side struts (1) complete the frame, with the wheels (4,5) outside the main frame. The cross struts extend over the side struts and are linked by elastic side ties (13,14). The struts are higher than the rest of the chassis and provide a firm support for the load. The front of the chassis has a tapering extension (10) to the drawbar (11). The load is supported without torsional distortion.
